First, I am deleting the images in my scraps. Despite my desire to keep them up simply to spite dA, I am just no longer comfortable with them.
I appologize to those of you who were kind enough to think that any of them deserved a spot in your favorite list, but I just do not like them anymore, and no longer wish for them to be displayed here.
The more I look at them, at myself, the more I dislike them. Attitude or not, let's be honest- I don't have the skin to be a model for photography. Not without lots of make up, or post-production work. Neither of which I am willing to do for this grand Experiment of mine.
Especially since one of the whole points of the experiment is to see what you can do withOUT all of that bothersome post-production work.
Also, I have done more pictures like those (previously) in my scraps. Two or three more full series, to be precise. And fun though they are, I have not yet been able to create an image that fits the limitations of the camera without post-editing. So for this reason, mostly, I have decided to take them down, as I no longer see them as an example of the kinds of images a cell phone camera can take.
If I can find a way to take beautiful nudes without tons of make up, without any post-production editing, that fits the camera's physical limitations and STILL looks GOOD, then those will be the ones I will post, as I will be proud of them.
So again, to everyone who felt they deserved a +fav, thank you so very much for showing me that getting up the courage to do it in the first place was worth it, even though I feel I need to take them down as I am just no longer happy with them.
Beyond that, I do still have a few more for the Eyes of the City series, as well as some other quite nice nature-ish shots. (This seems to be currently one of the best genres for this type of camera, but we shall see how it goes, as always).

(am sending you a note, as well
